Delta Sigma Delta is an international co-ed dental fraternity. The undergraduate Lambda chapter at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio has over 70 members representing each year of study.

About Us
Delta Sigma Delta was founded at the University of Michigan on November 15th, 1882. The Cleveland Chapter was founded on January 16th, 1897 making it the 5th oldest chapter in the world. We are comprised of over 90 dental professionals from the Cleveland area representing every aspect of dentistry. We have 32 Undergraduate chapters in the USA and 34 Graduate chapters worldwide. Our official publication is the magazine Desmos. Our colors are turquoise blue and garnet red, our flower is the garnet carnation. Our objective is "to keep high the standards of dentistry by inuculcating in the mind of dental students and practitioners a spirit of fraternal cooperation toward scientific, ethical and professional progress." Our motto is Knowledge, Strength, Justice.

Becoming a Member
At the beginning of each fall semester, the fraternity makes a presentation to each incoming class. Anyone interested in joining is welcomed to an additional lunch meeting where we explain more about the fraternity. We hold a rush week in September followed by an initiation ceremony and dinner/night out in Cleveland.
